I've been watching a lot of Star Trek Lately. Something I've noticed. The Shuttle-crafts on the "Next Generation" Series seem to be built a lot like a Ford Festiva. Not the new Festiva... the old one. Really Thin walls and very roomy on the inside. Ah... to fly among the stars in a sub-compact car.

Occasionally while flipping through TV channels I land on American Movie Classics Channel (AMC) and find myself confronted by a "What the hell is this" situation. That is how I discovered "The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T." Which was the little known Dr. Suess movie made back in the 1950's ( Read more... )

I just got a call from Wendybyrd with an update on Amii and Gabriel and she asked me to post an update. Because of the distress that the cold is causing Gabriel, it has been decided to perform a Caesarean.

I'm a fan of the book "Princess of Mars" By Edgar Rice Burroughs (The same bloke who created Tarzan). Not necessarily because it's any good. But, because he did it first.
