Why is this taking me so long?T_T Memorizing the Kana, I mean. A girl at the bookstore cafe said it took her one weekend, she just wrote every character 100 times. I got a workbook and I'm writing it on paper too, but I get bored after 30 of a character, so I switch to the next one, but then I do like 10 of them and stop. So many of them look too

i don't know if you have any japanese magazines or anything, but it helped me by looking through them and going "ohh there's a ka!" or "that one is a mu!" and trying to pick out things i recognized, then looking them up if i wasn't sure what they were. (actually a japanese website would be just as good, but you might want to make the font size a bit bigger o_O)

I don't know if I can find anything in Japanese around here, but I could order stuff online I guess, like Shoxx or something. It's a good idea, thank you.
