It is 3:30am and I woke up from crying. It wasn't a bad dream, but it sure feels like it! In 2 days(if I can't figure out a way to stop it) one of my lives will be over...for good! People talk about broken hearts, and let me tell you it sucks ( Read more... )

I feel your pain. Even though I wasn't married and didn't have kids, breakups are the suck when your the one who gets dumped. Ignore the people who tell you to get over it. These things take time and you can't rush it. I know I wanted to, but all you end up doing is hiding from it and it doesn't go away until it's run it's course. Someday we'll all find someone and look back on our past relationships and probably actually be thankful things turned out the way they did. Life's a journey, right now we happen to just be going through a rough patch of it.

no, they don't. It's easier to leave a relationship when you have someone else to fill that void. We get stuck with trying to figure where things went wrong and what we did wrong, when the truth is the relationship had just ran it's course. The hard part to accept is that there is nothing wrong with us and we are not at fault.
