Sparda. Unfamiliar with the canon? The short version goes something as follows: A demon that two thousand years ago rebelled against his own kind for the sake of the human world. He defeated the emperor of Hell and his legions before sealing the gateway(s) between the planes. Most of Sparda's powers were sacrificed when sealing the gates to Hell but he's a high level demon of unknown age who survived around two millennia in the human realm with the armies of Hell on his tail out for revenge.
So Sparda is a very old and mysterious supernatural creature. A former general of Hell, he's been said to have stolen the names of and imprisoned of the anthropomorphic representations of the Seven Sins and his sealed-off power equalled to that of a god.
On top of that he has spent near two millennia hiding among humans doing who knows what. His senses are pretty sharp, his knowledge presumably vast and his morals both good and at times extremely questionable.
Beyond the basics his character is theorized and improvised since the man remains a mystery among mysteries in canon. I've set up a handy-dandy long-winded information post with character info
here for the curious that also includes pictures for reference.
To other characters Sparda may appear as anything from a handsome man or a somewhat ethereal human, to an ancient beast in sheep's clothing. Sparda hides his true form (something like
this except with more wings) well but no matter what he does he's not human even if he can fool most people.
He is a sneaky bastard always looking for allies, soldiers and pawns. He can be both ruthless and extremely loyal; help both good and bad characters.
As an extra twist he's something of a self-proclaimed guardian of the human realm from evil -when he feels like it.
Sparda can be harmed in the most gruesome ways, live to tell the tale, retaliate like a pro, or just play and spar. Maybe have tea and just be bros?
If someone wish to be extra devilish, one may ponder if technically it could even be possible to actually summon him -why not? Who knows!
To summarize, he's a pretty knowledgeable and strong character, but a very versatile one that I couldn't possible bring justice to all on my own so I am happy to offer him to aid, assist, and to play with. You know it, the Devil loves company ♥
I try my best to not godmod; never ever be afraid to tell me if there is something you don't want Sparda to know or pick up on, or if you have a character that it will eb difficult if they meet/interact. We'll work it out!
