Progress Report: Quickie

1) For those of you writers who own a Mac: go to this website, watch this video, and then download the free 30-day trial. Admittedly, I'm on day one and I haven't even begun to figure out all of it, but after the video and the tutorial, I can't wait to start writing again. I'm still keeping my special brand of vampires, but since I made them human ANYWAY, and the disease itself sounds more SF-ish instead of fantasy-ish, it's a good transition.

Scriviner scares me because it might make me... uh... plan things. (clings to her pantsing ways).

Seriously, though. I do keep meaning to try it. But not until after graduation.

Actually, it really doesn't. Check out the video I linked to, and even try the download. For my thesis novel, I'm going back and adding all the "planning" stuff so I can organize it now that it's done, but you can either pre-plan or post-plan. :)

I hear great things about Scrivener. I swear my next system will be a Mac. And since my current one is 4 years old now, that could be fairly soon.
