 I think I can comfortably say that my husband was fully engaged for this episode...and was even looking forward to it. He was suitably shocked at the ending, although nowhere near as colorfully as other viewers as seen on You Tube. He did ask: "Is he really dead?"  This episode (THE POINTY END) was quite riveting and my husband was even moved to venture a guess about how the plot would turn. He was totally wrong, of course, but I wisely said nothing. The plot is now at a point where it is clear what is happening to each set of characters and it ended far too soon for me. I really wanted MORE at the end. Can' ( Read more... )

My husband agreed with that assessment but I can tell he is gamely trying to stay interested on my behalf. I had such a beautiful Sunday yesterday, really outstanding. Pat and I went over to the Lyn-Lake festival at noon, which I believe is the second one ever. Lyn-Lake is like the Hennepin Lake area of 30-40 years ago, very urban and exciting but the shops and restaurants are all small business and unique.
