I think people were happier before the internet because then they did not know the full extent to which people can suck OR be infinitely cooler than you.
Hey man, long time no-chat. I find it funny that this is what I find when I set about to go looking for you. I'm sorry I've sucked so bad at keeping in touch with you since you moved. No excuses, just sorry.
Oddly enough, I'm finding myself in a similar position - though I attribute some of this to the fact that I work overnights at a hotel now and am therefore forced to watch CNN for the last two hours of my shift. But c'est la vie.

As part of "The Man" and Pax Americana, I can say that it's a self defeating system as the corps feed off the rotting flesh of those they "serve".
