Cashmere
Our youngest kitty, Cashmere, a very youthful eighteen years of age, passed very gracefully this morning with the sunrise. Her kidneys failed rather abruptly at the start of December, and though we debated helping her make her final journey then, she showed a stubborn determination to keep on with her daily routine, which we decided to respect. Our travel delays
We're in the process of returning home to Portland from our annual visit to Lee-Anne's folks in upstate New York. We had some trouble finding flights a few months back, so we ended up booking our return travel with USAir, rather than the Delta-Northwest folks with whom we normally fly.
