I love visiting here--I always learn something from this journal (though I already knew that C. rocked the house with her sharp pointy things); but now I know that one can knit oneself a garter belt in the same shades as I used to see only on beer-can-hemisphere hats.

I once tried to teach myself to knit. I knitted the same damned six inches of a scarf about 20 times. I'd be moving along, and inevitably drop a stitch. Because I didn't know how to deal with it, I'd have to rip the whole thing apart and start over.

I'm not bad at macrame, though...

cninety9 taught me some knitting skillz. I've only made a few things though. Once you get over the "learning curve", it's great. I need to get on knitting my guitar-strap. I've got everything I need for it except TIME.
