Thanksgiving

My dad had his quintuple bypass surgery yesterday. He got through it just fine, and is now in recovery. The nurses got him out of bed and walking around a little bit today, but he is still very heavily medicated and in and out frequently.

I'm thankful for what's happened this last week. a lot of amazing circumstances have kept my dad alive and

My step father had that same thing done to him over twenty years ago. He's was just as grumpy yesterday as he has ever been.

This time next year you won't remember it happened, unless he's the type that would remind you of it. ;-)

It's scary. It's serious. It's something to be wary of.

But it is something he ( and you) can, and will, survive.

I'm so glad he pulled through, what a relief. Is there any status on when he might be released from the hospital?
