Half way around the world in 40 hours
The flight from Albuquerque to Minneapolis was fairly uneventful and
not interesting. The flight from Minneapolis to Amsterdam was on an
Airbus 330. It's a nice plane. As Northwest has them outfitted in
coach class there is an entertainment center that could do a number of
things.

MoMo Italian Specialties
Anyone who has known me long enough has likely heard me rave about MoMo Italian Specialties. On a recent visit I noticed they had changed their menu. The items were the same but the descriptions were much shorter. The owner told me he had to switch to a new format that was cheaper to produce. Apparently Boston has decided that portable electronic signs are now terrorist activity worthy of arrest. Freedom of the press no longer means anything there. The cradle of the American Revolution has now sunk into tyranny.

I will be taking a trip soon and I am thinking about buying a camera for it. Does anyone have any recommendations? I would likely want to take both stills and movies. The ability to record from a video input might also be useful. -
The Scalpel Man Cometh
The surgery to create my AV fistula is scheduled for 21 November. At least a couple of my family members have said they will be here for it. It looks like I will get to spend Thanksgiving in bed. -
A Citizen of the Highways
I just saw a car in New Mexico with Washington (state) plates and a sign on the door for a cancer walkathon that said "walking to all 88 of Ohio's county seats". This one really gets around. -
