well, the ceremony for the Scholastic Art contest was cool. all the artsy kids were extremely confident and dressed as expected. i was just really glad that Gerald came home to go to the ceremony and see the gallery. i miss him a lot. it was good to see him but i realized something after he left. Gerald's a grown up now. it's weird but i'm glad

speaking of UMASS Amherst they sent me an email talking about declaring my independence to the school and really confused me. i hadn't even gotten the letter saying they got my complete application. anyway i am calling you and we will sit down and figure out a weekend great for us because i seriously want to visit my KT!
