i distinctly remember missing work last monday morning because i couldn't drive my car up my local hills because of the snow and ice.  am i hallucinating?  ahh whatever.  i'm just going to enjoy the 84 degrees predicted and try not to shirk work too much today.

found out today that another old friend died earlier this week.

found out today that an old friend passed away yesterday.

i am full of sadness and some regret.  i love her and miss her.

what's with this national [global?] obsession with making your bed.  i hear parents complaning time and again that "the little bleeders won't make their beds no matter what i say or do or threaten!"  i'm seriously asking.  [i'm a compulsive non-bed maker myself, but i bet you knew that already.]
