[Lavi, the helpless romantic, is currently draped over a couch in a sitting room, reading this horribly cheesy romance novel. And totally one hundred percent absorbed in it. So absorbed, that he probably wouldn't notice anyone come up to him until it was too late too hide his guilty pleasure of a pasttime

[exploring, a large volume in his arms and his ever-present backpack hanging off one shoulder - his book is something to do with some complicated branch of science, and he's definitely a bit surprised to see other-him reading something like that.

He hesitates a bit, not sure whether to sit down and read as well or tiptoe out again; he's pretty sure this Lavi is the one he met, who made him tea, but will the other Lavi remember him...?]

[What a silly question. Lavi remembers everybody! Lavi sense is telling him that someone is nearby, so he looks up over his book, grinning when he realizes which Lavi it is]

Already out and about? How's the Dressing Room treating you, yeah?

[write_silence]

[smiles very faintly and takes a few hesitant steps into the room, shrugging a little. He's been getting along all right. Lavi will notice a teeny tiny little lime-green golem sitting on top of his head]

[He does notice it and the title of the book he's reading. And Lavi's a bit torn about what to comment on first. Ah well, green golem it is]

Where did you pick up the friend?

[Pointing at the other's Lavi's hair]

[oh he'd almost forgotten about the little guy. His smile actually turns a little mischievous, and he opens his bag a little - and two more of the tiny golems zoom out, one a very dark green and one a more forest-green shade, and start chasing each other around the sitting room]

[Sits up and puts his book on the table, holding out a hand palm up in awe. Awwww, the little guys were so cute]

Find a nest of golems in your room?

[write_silence]

[shakes his head, almost full-on grinning now as both of the speedy little critters zoom right over to perch on Lavi's hand, clinging with their tiny feet and just generally being adorable. The one on his head stays there, apparently a bit shyer than the other two.]

That one seems to really like you, yeah.

[Using his free hand to pat the couch seat next to him]

Would you like to sit down?

[write_silence]

[he likes it right back, and the other ones, too. It's really nice to have something around that loves him in spite of his eccentricities. Hesitates a second, then comes over to sit next to Lavi, bag on his lap as always and legs tucked up under him. He can't help glancing curiously again at the novel Lavi's holding]

[Watching his gaze drift back over to the horribly cheesy and awful romance novel. Hands it to him with a grin]

Want to take a look?

[write_silence]

[blushes bright red and shakes his head. Embarrassed Lavi is embarrassed!]

You sure. I bet it is more interesting than that science book you have there.

[Because what could be more interesting than cheesy plots and cheesy dialogue followed by happily ever after]

[write_silence]

[Science is safe, though. It's objective, it doesn't lie or betray you. There's a flash of sadness in his eyes as he thinks about this, but he quickly pushes it away and shakes his head again, smiling just a little]

[Blinks at the flash of emotion across the other Lavi's face and leans forward to gently put a hand on his shoulder]

What is it?

[write_silence]

[the touch makes him start a little, but he calms quickly. He's still for a long moment, then slowly lifts his hands to sign to Lavi.] I don't like romance, that's all.

Ah... [Quickly puts the book on the end table and out of sight from Lavi]
