[Moderately early in the morning, because even tempersword and regeneratory are aware that nobody else tends to get up as early as them.

So you'll probably see one or the other around the neutral hallways and the North Wing, trying to find the recipients for their gifts (though Kanda has a noticeable amount more stuffed in his arms). Also don't mind the poor wrapping job.

[Neutral hallway encounter, get! Lenalee's been up and about since surprisingly early, wrapping various gifts for the people important to her, and now she's on a mission. The Kandas come first because they're most likely already up and about- and sure enough, there's one now.

Hurrying up to him!] Kanda! Merry Christmas.

[regeneratory]

[Stops and looks her way, humming and inclining his head in response.] Hey.

[Stops and pouts a little. Say it with her, Kanda: Merry Christmas.]

[regeneratory]

... What? [What's that look for?]

You aren't going to say it back, even today?

[regeneratory]

Say what--[Oh, right.] Is it that important?

[fallforthesky]

[Well, considering neither of them are all that religious, probably not. But still.]

I just thought that since it's the holidays...

[regeneratory]

[Rolls his eyes. Fine, fine.] Merry Christmas.

[Now give him a moment to find her gift among the others.]

[Bright smile! There, see, that wasn't so hard! And while he's fussing around with his armful o' gifts, she's going to pull her own from her breast pocket. It's a very small and flat box, meaning whatever is inside obviously won't be extravagant and Kanda will have no reason not to accept it.

Waits for him to finish shuffling boxes.]

[regeneratory]

[Lenalee's gift is a little larger than that, but still small. He works it into his hand before holding it out for her.] Here.

[fallforthesky]

Thank you. [Takes it, careful not to dislodge his other gifts, and holds his out to him with something akin to an impish smile.] Do you want me to open yours for you?

[regeneratory]

[Looks back at his gifts. Uh, yeah--] It'd be easier.

[Nods; she thought as much. So she tucks the gift he'd handed her into the crook of her elbow and pops the lid off his, angling it towards him so he can see inside while she pulls back the tissue paper. Inside is a black and red hair tie. It's not quite as nice looking as his usual fare, but that's because she made it herself and it was a trial and error thing. This was the best out of the three she made.

Looks up at him to gauge his expression, somewhat meek.]

[regeneratory]

[A pause before adjusting his gifts to one arm so that he can take it out. Kanda wasn't picky with his hair ties anyway aside from length (but no promises this won't end up like the many that get broken).] Thanks.

[It'd be nice if it at least made it a few weeks before that, though. She breaks into a smile as he takes it.] You're welcome. I'm glad you like it.

[He'll try not to get in any fights. A nod, waiting to see if she's going to open hers.]
