Creating, for the creative, is not "an outlet". It is not "a job" or "a hobby". It oftn hs nothing to do with the final product (which, frequently, is finalized by simply stopping work), but is about the procces.

for me that is mainly true, but its also an outlet. I use it to calm because it makes me happy. huh... I thought most people who created things felt that way

That's what I meant by "proccess"; it is often more about the creating than the creation. I know that is how I feel in the darkroom, and often how I feel about various digital projects. It is a chance to focus on something and to try new things and to strive for perfection where no one else will be effected by failure.
