The long weekend was great, but it really seems to have cut into my time to get stuff done during the work week (including posting this entry).  I am glad that it's Thursday though.  I am pretty tired and looking forward to another weekend.  Heh.  I never get sick of the weekends.  Here's what I've been up to over the past week:

Now that I have been back at work for 6 weeks.  I feel like I have fallen back into a routine again.  The weather is also starting to get colder.  Monday and Tuesday were pretty cold with no heat at work.  I was happy to see the warmer weather again today.  I will soak it up while it lasts.  Anyway, on to my weekly happenings:

Work: Things are picking up at work again between evaluations and meetings.  Fun stuff.  If I could just treat kids and call it a day, I would be happy.  It always has to be complicated though.  I guess that's how life is.  I just hope that I can have more of a handle on taking home less work this year.  The last few years have not been good for me ( Read more... )

Things have picked up and I have had something to do just about every day for the past week.  On Saturday, we did something that we have been meaning to do for awhile: we painted our bedroom!  Steve and I recruited his parents since we have never done much painting on our own.  In a matter of hours, our room was fully painted.  It's a nice light ( Read more... )
