Well, the holidays are finally over.  Phew!  It's not that I don't enjoy things like getting together with family and friends.  It's just all the things that go along with them like shopping, cards, etc. Now I feel like I can finally get my life back in order, the good and the not-so-much-fun-but-necessary stuff.  I feel like I have put some things ( Read more... )

It has been a pretty busy week.  Balancing work and shopping has proven to be quite the challenge.  I am hoping to finish our shopping this weekend.  It has been hanging over my head.  Luckily, we don't have much planned so that might be possible.  Anyway, here's what I've been up to besides shopping:

This past week I made it through another stressful hurdle: finishing my progress reports.  I was momentarily relieved until I finally got around to looking at how many professional development points (PDPs)  I need to maintain my educator's license in Massachusetts.  I underestimated how much I need by a lot and I am only halfway to what I need ( Read more... )

It's two months into the school year and I am really craving a vacation.  I don't think it helps that it's November (such a blah month) and I have to do progress reports this week.  There is so much to do in so little time.  I hope that I get everything taken care of by Friday.  Here's what I've been up to:

I feel like I have been going through a mid-week slump the last few weeks.  I manage to get through Monday and Tuesday fine, but I feel pretty exhausted by Wednesday and Thursday.  By the time Friday comes, I don't care anymore because the weekend is right around the corner.  I hope that I manage to get some stuff done tonight despite being tired ( Read more... )
