Anyway I'm going to ramble about how I'm pissed that Uni of Pitts didn't give me support. HOW THE FUCK DID THIS HAPPEN!!! After reading my paper, one of the professors (chris lennard )literally solicited me to be his advisee. Yet I was put on the shortlist, and apparently not high up on the list. Meh ( Read more... )

Texas A&M is the place to be for that sort of stuff. Although I've heard that aside from maths, the place sucks.
(When I first read your journal I got scared that maybe you were someone I knew IRL who's at Texas A&M...)

Yea, a guy here in buffalo is working with someone from texas A&M (david kerr). Pearcy, Pisier, and of course, Douglas, are names I hear a lot in analysis ( ... )
