I'm not dead, just busy with Kyle and wallowing in post natal depression. Hoping the happy tablets will kick in soon. He is lovely and getting bigger every day. He's now 10lb 3oz! Fat wee bugger. I'm feeling better than I was, but still not 100%, really thought I was losing my mind. Still a bit of a nutcase, but hopefully this should improve.

Kyle Andrew arrived on Friday 4th July at 8.07pm. Everything went well, he is wonderful and we are absolutely smitten. Managed to have the natural labour I wanted with no complications and thankfully didn't take long at all. J amuses me.

I just called him at work and he answered the phone by asking "do you need to go to the hospital?"

I said "no", so he said "can I call you back in five minutes then". :-)

So I'm monitoring my blood glucose levels four times a day. Stabbing myself is easier than I thought it would be, but what's worrying is the amount of variation in the levels despite my best attempts at dietary management.
