Work: They’re actually taking one shackle off from the Client From Hell. *gasp* Basically meaning, as of 5pm yesterday I am no longer handling their claims cases. Season 2 of Carnivale is much better than the first. The opening episode explains more than the entire first season combined.

Totally agree on the news.

Carnivale rocks.I've been following it from day one.You should check out season 2 as soon as possible.Then wait for season 3 like the rest of us.Hehehehehe.

I don't have cable....or watch tv for that matter. So I'll have to wait for season 3 to come out on dvd lol.

I agree with you - these people don't seem to take quality of life into account - but then again I'm not a christian or a mother either - so - meh, what the hell, our opinions count as much as the next person's!! :)

Everyday is winter for us lucky people over here in the UK!!

i'm so with you on the news items...

and i'm glad you liked carnivale!! if you see it used again, please let me know where--i'm dying to buy it, but can't blow the $70-80 for it...

by tomorrow, we should have all of season 2 on our hard drives...you're welcome to borrow dvds/come watch with us anytime...

and thanks again for watching the kitties--i'll pop by sometime tomorrow or monday to retrieve the keys/say my thanks in person. :)

Actually I've seen it in several - Edward McKay and CD Warehouse (in both Raleigh and Cary). I got mine from the Raleigh store.

Sweet deal. I might have to take you up on the offer for season 2.

I've seen it in the Fayetteville Ed McKay's as well.

I could live in Ed McKays. With an occasional Taco Bell/bathroom run. :)

Me too! I sold most of my vhs tapes to them so I have oodles of store credit now. Unfortunately I can't use it on dvds, but they have a pretty good book collection so it's all good. ;0) Although, I hate the way they cram all the books into little itty bitty crates. It makes it twice as hard to sort through.

I've been posting, but not daily like I should be. In truth, I think I've posted more episodes than actual entries. heh

(quiet chuckle) Sadists indeed... and why should humans spend so much to keep a worthless hunk of flesh alive far beyond its Natural life ... we sure dont do it for other animals and we are NO better than them. Humans as being the smartest animal on the planet? wrong, and wayyyyy wrong. Brain capacity of humans has been shown to be down around 5th (I think) place of all the animals on this planet... then look at the mess that humans make of the world.... smartest? (snorts in disgust)
