one of my clients who knows i'm getting married said she thought of me when she found cakewrecks. i told her that our cake would never, ever make it there because i'm lucky to know a cake artiste. but dude. that site had me giggling for quite some time. had to share. :)

some good friends of mine have just opened the most amazing salon in downtown raleigh. words cannot really convey (nor do the pictures on their website, unfortunately) how gorgeous this space is. it's a fully renovated floor in a historical building, HUGE, hardwood-floored, perfectly decorated. it reminds me so much of salons in nyc...except ( Read more... )
