i was voter #1437 at cary towne center. go me. it took about 30 minutes to get through the line at 3:40ish.

if you are in nc, here's a list of places where you can vote early. note, only 4 of them are open this week--the rest open next thursday.

I wonder how early voting will sway people's opinions? I assume they will count them before election day. I wonder if those results will be shared? If a state like NC or OH that are on the balance shows favor to one candidate early will it drive out more voters? It will be interesting.

And yes, I sent my ballot in last week. I have voted.

Actually, they are not counted until election night along with the other ballots.

Cat voted earlier, I'm going to head across the street to Triangle Town Center to vote at lunch tomorrow. Should be interesting.

Incidentally, how did you find out what number voter you were? Cat's dying of curiosity over here.

When you scan in your ballot it pops up which number you are at that site.

yes. what she said. :) when you put your ballot card in the little machine, it displays your number.
