Well duh, of course I'm more susceptible to the hot weather now. I'm taking daily amphetimines so my already high metabolism is burning harder when I'm working outside. Too much added heat.

Sucks though, maxing out at hour-and-a-half stretches for outdoor work in summer is kinda lame.

The trip to Cologne (I'll be using the English spelling because, frankly, I hate hunting for umlauts) was actually pretty uneventful. The 8 and a half hour overseas flight was pretty painless overall. The movies United had were kinda lame and you get really thirsty about 5 hours in, but it went ok.

What podcasts do you listen to?

My main rotation is Best of the Left, Car Talk, NPR's All Songs Considered, Dark Horizons, the Onion News Network, and the Onion Radio News.

Ideally I'm looking for music podcasts. Pandora/Last.fm don't seem to cut it anymore.

Ok, so I am on the AFA (American Family Association)'s mailing list. This is primarily for laughs, and because the rants and boycotts they do usually tell me which companies I want to buy from (I would never have known how supportive Pepsi is of gay rights if the AFA hadn't told me to boycott them ( Read more... )
