How my brain fails near a cute animal
I am not a dog person. I get a little afraid of large (even medium) sized dogs. I also have a healthy fear of being bitten by any animal. I also think most puppies are ugly.
So why is it whenever I hear of or see a small dog in distress, my thoughts go toward adopting it?!

Seriously?
Right now I'm very glad we have the high-level credit fraud monitoring/protection/insurance plan-thingy with Chase, who runs our Amazon Visa card.
It notifies us whenever there is a transaction over $100 online or any transactions out of the country. It waits for approval from us before processing. It can sometimes be a hassle since we order ( Read more... ) -

Update: Cat Woes (Part 2)
Shima has been on her medication for over two weeks now and it really, really has helped to take the edge off. Update: Cat Woes
Temporary solution was enacted/attempted last night. The cats were herded by Brian into the master bedroom. 5 minutes later, Shima sprayed the bedroom door in her anger/frustration/stress.
