So, twitter. I have an account that I hardly use, and was thinking of just canceling it. Just posting stuff I'm doing during the day doesn't seem to do much for me. Does anyone here do something useful with it? Is there some secret to making twitter awesome that I'm missing out on?

When I move, I'm going to be riding the F train. That sounds kinda dirty, doesn't it? Ridin' the F train. They just canned a 40+ year employee, my mentor, at work. My plan now is to sit still and never leave the office, so they assume I am furniture and keep me here.

I got one of those bulk emails from Barack Obama today, announcing some new recharge of the movement that elected him called "Organizing for America." Now I gave money to the Obama campaign and proudly voted for him, and cried with my friends when he was announced our next President. On Thursday, Jan. 8 at 6:30PM, Donald Prothero, author of Evolution: What the Fossils Say and Why it Matters, will be giving a lecture on his book at the Museum of Natural History.
