:D For the moment, this universe of doom and kimoi.
For propriety's sake:
silver_lined did a MA+Peerless history story
fools rush in, which is super good and makes me super depressed. ♥ Then there's
sense and sensibility that involves Pin and Shoon+Taiyou, which was co-written by us.
And these (as follows) are maybe around five years down the line from fools rush in.
WHY DOES THIS AU SPAN A DECADE?
The current juniors are all at school. Tackey is a teacher and Tsubasa is around. Peerless are still off doing their thing and being awesome. Yara and Toma are still Faithless/Zeros. Yone and Maachin are still Groundless. Ebikisu are here:
A/N: I like the way Kawai came out. xD HIS FACE IS AGED.
Tsukachan's cat features are fluffy and blonde. ♥ Piercings in his left ear.
Kawai is the Sacrifice, Tsukachan the fighter -- one of the rare Fighters who likes physical attacks just as much as wordspells. 8D
Kawai: "Hit 'em, Tsuka-chan."
Tsukachan: Okay! *runs over and kicks them in the head*
Opponent: WHAT. *die*
Fearless. Acknowledging no fear. Because really, Kawai and Tsukada aren't scared of anything.
...Tsukachan's ears are real. xD He still has them. Tackey has an ear collection, which includes the rest of ABC's (not necessarily meaning he took them all himself, but. he has them now. ahahah). Except Tsukada's. Nobody really wants them. 8D

A/N: FUJIGAYA LOOKS SUPER RETARDED. ♥ Goseki, blue shirt, subconscious colour of power. Is the sacrifice. Lost their ears ages ago. 8)
(THERE ARE EXHIBITION MATCHES IN THIS 'VERSE, OK? :D)
They entered the arena in tandem: "Ruthless," and their voices carried through the dramatic silence that followed Fujigaya cutting off the spectators' cheers with a sharp gesture and winning smile. "No holds barred, we take no prisoners."
"Ha." Kawai stepped up on the opposite side with a cocky grin and Tsukada by his side. "We laugh in the face of danger! Ha ha ha."
"Fearless," Tsukada smiled cheerily. "Yoroshiku!"
"Meaning you're too stupid to be scared, right?" Fujigaya teased. It was alright though -- they were all good friends, their lot. Fujigaya and Tsukada had even been brought to the Seven Voices Academy at the same time when they were young, both nervous and ambitious and buzzing, wondering who their bond partners would be; when their sacrifices would be found. Exhibition matches were a welcome competition and friendly challenge (that Ruthless were currently winning ♥. And would stay winning if Fujigaya had anything to say about it).
"We declare a battle by wordspell," Goseki said formally, ever the gentleman. He turned a smile at Fujigaya as Fearless called their acceptance. "Taisuke, you know what to do."
"No need for orders," Fujigaya winked in agreement. "Gimme a kiss for luck instead?"
"Luck isn't something we need," Goseki chided, though tiptoed effeminately anyway to oblige Fujigaya a peck on the cheek. Shrieks re-erupted though when Fujigaya, as they'd both known he would, turned his head to catch Goseki's mouth in a kiss proper.
"Hey!" Kawai shouted, several long seconds in. "Hey. A little attention here would be nice, you know. As your opponent and all? Just saying."
Fujigaya pulled back with dark eyes and a deliberate caress, to lean easily on Goseki's shoulder. "How about you join us later, Fumito."
Goseki smiled. "If you win."
"Bastards," Kawai laughed. "What do you think about that, Tsuka-chan?"
Tsukada gave a guileless grin as he shrugged out his shoulders and stretched a little as if warming up. "Is the offer open to me, too?"
Kawai said, "Of course."
While Fujigaya narrowed his eyes over a sharp smile. "Oh, I don't know..."
"What, why not!" Kawai said. "There's nothing wrong with Tsuka-chan. He's in if we win!"
"Wrong with--?" Tsukada exclaimed. "That doesn't really make me want to win much at all, you know."
"Oh, we know," Goseki smiled.
Kawai frowned. "You know what? Let's just kick their asses and sort out the details later."
"I like the sound of that," Tsukada agreed.
We'll dish back triple any damage you deal us, Fujigaya chuckled, adopting a loose combat stance in anticipation of the physical attacks he knew Tsukada favoured.
Kawai smirked. "Bring it to the max."
For we are Fearless, Tsukada said, and punched his fist to Kawai's. They grinned. Strength so secure nothing will see us falter.

A/N: I like how Mitsu came out. xD; It's the only time I've managed to draw him even vaguely accurately. Tottsu's ears are fake. He lost his years ago, but wears them like accessories these days. Sometimes they're brown, sometimes they're permed at the tips, depending on his hair and outfit, because he's weird. His real ones were black with the white corner, his tail also thin and white-tipped. Mitsu's features were brunette and on the fluffier side.
(...I did read some old ABC article that said Tottsu used to be spastic and hyper and have trouble sleeping. xD But anyway. Set sometime after their
other drabble. :D)
"You're a disgrace to your name, Kitayama," Fujigaya said, coming into the classroom to find a regular scene: Kitayama lazing across three chairs, his head in Totsuka's lap, and Totsuka sitting sideways at his desk in order to put the finishing touches on his battle theory homework. "Sleepless, my ass. You do nothing but sleep."
"Your voice is too high and too loud," Kitayama grumbled.
And then Totsuka said serenely, "Well. Just because he sleeps all the daylight hours doesn't mean it's the same all night, too," and the half-full room clattered to a halt.
"...TMI, Tottsu," Kawai shouted from the front. "Tee. Em. Ai." And life in the classroom went on. Mostly.
Fujigaya frowned. So maybe it was suspicious that Totsuka always did his homework just before first class but, "It'd be more TMI if you were tired, too," he said.
"No, no." Totsuka waved Fujigaya's concerns away with a smile, and continued writing. "I used to be ADHD, would you believe? Haven't slept more than a couple' hours a night since elementary school. My mother was very relieved back when Takizawa-sensei explained to her that if I enrolled here at Seven Voices I would board too."
For maybe the first time in his life, Fujigaya felt a little disturbed and almost sorry for his old rival-
Kitayama had joined the Academy kind of late for a fighter, but Totsuka had been paired with him immediately and Sleepless had quickly become as formidable a duo as the more established Ruthless and Fearless pairs who'd been around longer. It still rubbed Fujigaya's competitive streak up the wrong way when Kitayama's spells were as good and sharp as his own, despite their difference in training history, but he liked the guy well enough. And Totsuka was also rather inoffensive, apart from when he was just out and out weird.
"Sucks to be a mere mortal huh, Kitayama," Fujigaya said.
Kitayama cracked an eye open, lazily focusing up at Fujigaya as a smile snuck onto his face. "I don't know what you're talking about, Fujigaya." As Totsuka's free hand strayed down to stroke absently through Kitayama's hair, Kitayama's eyes closed again and he purred, rumbly and pleased. "I'm loving every minute."

A/N: At this stage, Miyata isn't much to look at still. Just a scrappy little thing with hair that looks unbrushed and the eyebrows he was born with. His ears are smooth though, and dark brown the same as his hair. I think Tama-chan's features would have been fluffier, but he probably carefully conditions and trims the fur on his ears, jkhekht. xD
In hindsight, their first meeting hadn't been the most auspicious thing to begin with anyway.
"Welcome to the Seven Voices Academy, Tamamori-kun," Julie had said, ushering him into the reception area. "Your Fighter's been waiting a long time for you. ♥ Just a moment while we find him." And she'd left him to his own devices.
Tamamori looked around, not too sure what to make of everything. It had all happened kind of fast, and he hadn't wanted to change schools or leave home, but his mother had insisted -- convinced by that charismatically deadpan man, Yamashita, who'd explained a lot gobbledygook about bond pairs and life partners and being a Sacrifice for a Fighter, which Yamashita was and Tamamori also was, apparently.
Tamamori didn't really buy it and was pretty sure that his mother had only let Yamashita-just-call-me-Pi-san talk as long as he had just to watch his lips move, and then sold Tamamori to the Seven Voices Academy for visiting rights to the same school that Yamapi-san worked at.
But at least the place looked nice. And, well. Even if Tamamori had (maybe) cried about going at first, Yamapi-san had been kind of cool, and if being a sacrifice involved being as cool as Yamapi-san, and Seven Voices could teach Tamamori that too, then maybe it wouldn't be so bad in the long run.
Julie came back in, trailed by somebody totally average and a half. "Tamamori-kun," she said, "this is Miyata."
Tamamori gave an expression of disbelief. "He's my partner?"
"Wow," Miyata said, admiration written all over his face. "You're really pretty."
"...yoroshiku," Tamamori said, suddenly self-conscious.
Miyata smiled, bowing. "Pleased to make your acquaintance."
That had been then. Now, they shared a room and lived together and went to the same classes and everything, and Tamamori believed in the wordspell bondpair stuff. But. He gave a sigh, turning from the full length mirror on the closet opposite their beds, and searched for wherever he'd thrown his jeans.
He could still feel it though, their name, even if he wasn't looking at where it burned a clean line down his left calf to achilles: Hopeless.
At least, Tamamori supposed, neither of them was really into wearing shorts.

A/N: accidentally, Senga has traumatised face. And Nikaido, blue hair. Nika's catfeatures are black, I think; smooth ears, bushy tail. Senga's are fluffy and brown. They'll acquire piercings sometime. 8D;
(A continuation of
their meeting. ♥)
"Are you still nervous?" Nikaido asked as they approached the classroom door. He held Senga's hand in his own, leading the way, and the other's palms were still a little sweaty.
Senga shook his head, then changed his mind and nodded. The way he chewed on his upper lip really wasn't helping his smile, Nikaido thought, but it was still cute. "Yeah," Senga admitted. "I'm nervous. I mean, I think I make friends pretty easy, but it's still... you know."
Nikaido stopped. "Well." And shuffled over to press his lips a little to the side of Senga's mouth. Senga blinked at him in surprise. "...I dunno," Nikaido said gruffly, looking away. "Taipi and them do it sometimes. 'Cos it gives 'em strength. When they battle and stuff, too. Or that's what they say anyway."
"Oh." Senga's real smile, Nikaido discovered then, was a million watts unshaded adorable and his laugh was rich and ringing. And Nikaido was too stunned by this to react right away when Senga gave a sly look and said, "Well, if that's the case I bet it was something more like this..." and pressed his mouth to Nikaido's and got his hands in Nikaido's hair.
Not that Nikaido complained any about it, no, his shock melting quickly enough. And since it was Senga's first day, Tackey didn't even mind them being kind of late.

Weightless: Yokoo(fighter), Iida(sacrifice).
Their pic+story is
here. 8D
"The moment a Fighter and Sacrifice meet for the first time is forever etched into their memory," Yokoo said sagely, while Iida nodded along. Tamamori got the feeling they were just pulling his leg, but couldn't prove it. "It's a day the pair will never forget."
"Yup," Miyata said, grinning his happy, no-eyes smile.
"Yup~" Senga beamed as well.
Tamamori looked from one to the other, then to Yokoo and Iida, and finally Nikaido -- who seemed to be the only other one with an um, no? kind of expression on his face. "I found Senga in the toilet block," Nikaido deadpanned, and Tamamori winced inside. At least he and Miyata hadn't done that.
Yokoo spread his hands. "Well, see? That's not something you're liable to forget any time soon, is it," he said, ever practical as Iida chewed on his lip and tried not to laugh.
