diaperswappers feedback

Oct 07, 2008 19:06

someone on DS had some dipes up for sale that i paid for.
a day later she refunds my money and tells me she "can't sell them."

am i entitled to give her feedback?
if so, neutral or negative?

she has since changed the post to just say "please delete!"

thanks!

From my experience? No feedback is good feedback.. I mean sure she has the right to say "nevermind" and refund you... but I did that.. got negative feedback for it, left her a negative in return because the whole thing sucked a big nut, and now Im banned. (I was the seller, I couldnt realistically get to the PO to ship the items because of a car accident, explained it and refunded her.. she flipped her shit over it)

So now I take the stance on just ignoring it.. but Im sure someone can chime in with better advice.

i feel like any kind of excuse would've pleased me more, even the truth, like what i assumed: she either has a friend she wants to give them to for free or cheaper. she just said "i can't sell these now, sorry ):"

why did you get banned? 1 negative feedback?
i'm supernew to DS as this was the first of my only two transactions on it.

well, she could've sold them for more, decided against selling them or any number of reasons. I immediately assume the worst and think they sold them to someone else for more, lol. Im so negative sometimes ;) But yeah an excuse, any excuse, is better than no excuse, really. I at least had a legit reason for backing out of the sale.. I almost never will back out, even if I regret the sale ( ... )

good to know!

what did the stuff reek of? what is Nov. Exchange?

if she had been in an accident, i would've waited it out for however long it took -- i'm still in the ttc phase!

i CAN'T stand the forum format on DS, but i'm trying to stock up on NB AIOs and pockets, which are harder to find cheaper, especially used.

At least she refunded your money promptly?

yeah, i'm not angry about it now, but at the time i was superpissed because it was SUCH a good deal and i was excited about it.
i'm mostly just looking for the ethical/proper thing to do in this case.

Personally, I'd just ignore it. She might have had a really legitimate reason for not being able to sell the wipes.

I think the only thing that matters is that she refunded you your money and told you she can't sell them. It's not like she scammed you by taking your money and not sending the diapers. She was upfront with you, so I would just leave it at that and not give feedback.

I'd do neutral and write "flaky, refunded money and refused to sell"

technically, you can leave FB because money did change hands, even if it was returned. I would probably leave a neutral FB that says, "seller changed her mind and refunded payment" just so people know what happened. I don't think it would warrant a negative.
