IRL update
As Armand wraps up his classes/workshop, he's getting busier and I find myself busier too. So much so, that I haven't updated many things, including my planner and my blogs.
This goes to show that when there is much activity in real life, the virtual worlds must patiently wait in the sidelines.

Summer chores
After more than three years of dependence on neighborhood laundry services, I finally decided to purchase a washing machine. We've been shopping around for one and have even come up with a shortlist that meets all our criteria (good features, fully automatic and won't set us back too much), but the actual buying was taking awhile because we wanted ( Read more... ) -

The weekend so far
It seems that this is one long weekend I am not prepared for. For one, I spoke too soon when I said that there's no work to be done. Armand has a project to attend to, while not at all times, it still keeps his attention on something other than total and absolute rest.

Holy days, holidays
In two days, Manila will be dead. Holy Week has come again, and work (supposedly) stops for everyone. People are heading out of town to take a break, or going on retreats to reflect, or have made some other plans for this very long weekend ( Read more... ) -
Spam from dad
Many friends know that I don't talk about my father. Actually, I don't talk TO my father anymore. We have a strained relationship because of many, many crazy things he has done. Medical intervention
We just came from the doctor to schedule Matthew for surgery. It's just a minor one, but it still is surgery, with the use of anesthesia, IV and the OR. The boy has tongue tie, a condition that could have easily been identified had his first pedia done her job well.
