The best thing I could do in this position is stop trying to fix the past.
I can't save my marriage, or get close again to those people who I've cut ties from.
Even if I blow out the flames now, the bridge is already burnt, and I just need to accept that.

No matter how much I regret it.

I've missed you.
I've never felt more alone than I do in this moment.
I know why, I regret that I've done it, since it's entirely my fault.
And to top it off, I've been doing it for so long, there's no way to ever climb out of the hole I've dug.
