It wasnt so much as a 'give up' as it turned out to be. I admit i assumed the wrong things, but shit happens. Yea, I know how she is and to be completly honest this is better for her. I'll be in iraq come febuary, and what the fuck is she gonna do then? I enjoy her friendship and company, but at times i don't enjoy what the friendship is/was built around. She's admitted herself she has to have something physically there, i understand this. But the thing is, look at my occupation, i know it sounds like a cop out but its the truth. If she needs it there, i'll be home maybe twice before febuary. I'll be home for like 5 days next month, and if im lucky be home before i leave to see my brother, then the sandbox. One tour last 8+ months over there, and with my MoS i'll be moving around and will have little contact. How's she gonna feel then? What if i come back in a box? How would she feel?
