as always, color, stroke, and value scale are spectacular. i don't have much feedback on the abstract piece, as i don't create them. i'd like to see it in person, then discuss. it doesn't seem finished yet--some of the brushstrokes look a little haphazard (for you anyways). but i'd have to see it in person. or hell, bring it into my school. people are nice. all girls. ask my prof. she'd die if you did.

thanks for the feedback. i agree that the abstract one isn't finished but it's all new to me and i'm not too sure how to proceed. i'm assuming that i'll start work on a new painting and then feel compelled to add to it. i'd like to show it to you in person. did becky talk to you about meeting up this weekend? she's got to babysit her parents' house. girls' night! wine! food! ... painting critique...!

i like them! especially the second one... the gourds look very real. your paintings seem to have a lot of depth to them, amazing how you do it.
