So I've received official notice that the student I was mentoring before Christmas has withdrawn from University and the University Disability Office cannot place me with a new student. Ergo I am now officially unemployed. Hopefully, I can sign on to E.S.A. again citing lack of job making Depression and Anxiety worse. Which it is ( Read more... )

Complained yes, whinged not about my MA. My supervisor is not up to date about current regulations so noting that isnt "whinging". The fact I cannot afford to get to London to spend a week in the National Army Museum reading room or upto to Edinburgh to the United Services Museum or to the Musee de l'Armee library is due to not having a job. I simply cannot afford to do it w hich rather makes a mockery of the whole researching from primary archival material which is what an MA by research has to be based on. Hence deferring til I can find a part time job ( ... )

I think it is fair to say that you aren't going to complete the MA. Nobody can easily get a job at the moment. You are no different from countless others in a similar situation ( ... )
