I think LJ is dying which is kind of sad as I believe it is far superior then facebook for actually detailing whats going on in your life. I was looking over my friends page the other day though and noticed that almost no one posts any more. There are the usual suspects but other then that everyone seems to be meh! Is this the death of a legand...?

Facebook has almost zero content but is, in effect, all the little puzzles and games and 'quick-look: gone!' applications/quizzes that LJ links to. I don't use anything on Facebook besides importing my Notes from LJ and posting some photos. I use it more like email.
Though, to be fair, part of it is also that many of us are getting older. Most of the old groups have split-up. No need to keep attached on LJ they figure.

but while facebook works for keeping in touch, it's certainly not the same as blogging - there's a lot to be said for an outlet to be intimate and confessional, open and honest. Not much space on fb to post one's thoughts, that doesn't seem to be what its meant for.
I certainly dont post much anywhere, but thats because i'm busy and my leisure time is scarce.
