The second bike
A year ago today I was taking my regular ride away from the Canada Day crowds only I was with two fellow riders for once. I crashed my bike that day and it was a write-off.

Toilets
Home rennos and other junk I get up to are usually slow to arrive online due to photos (i have a backlog of work). This time I think everyone will be happy I skipped them.
Toilet was no longer secured to floor. Keep in mind this was a Kohler we had professionally installed about 2 years ago to make our horrible and small washroom less offensive.

Windows
Sadly it's still not time to replace them. Worded more properly: they will not be replaced yet though they required replacing many years ago.

Bastion soundtrack
Fantastic looking and sounding game called Bastion I'm planning to pick up this month on Steam. It is an indi game and won a bunch of awards/praise. The game style (action with levelling/items) has a unique narrator through the whole game who updates the speech based on how you play.

Two years. That's a lot of time to pass since moving into a new home. It was humorous to see what little furniture we had in the tiny condo trying to fill the space. We each had 'saved' furniture with family and soon the small house was over-stuffed ( Read more... )
