Finally had dinner with my errant brother over the weekend. His partner, Doug, made a delicious light dinner of shrimp cocktail, steak salad, and Bananas Foster and we had some great conversation. OK, I can stomach (just barely) the McDonald's catchphrase of "I'm Lovin' It," but they really, really need to stop calling their sandwiches "handhelds" like they're some sort of freakin' iPod or something.

I'm just sayin'.

Haven't updated in awhile 'cause everything that's been noteworthy of late has been covered in teaa's journal. (I could discuss the emotional rollercoaster that a newly Depo'd girlfriend sometimes provides, but I'm not about to get myself into that kinda trouble.) Inexplicably, I've been having trouble sleeping the past week or so. I don't know if it's the heat or what, because I haven't changed any of my other routines. Yet I've been waking up at 4:30AM - 5:30AM every morning and not been able to fall back asleep. Tonight, Teaa meets my clan. Well, my mom's half, anyway. Bwa-ha-ha!

Update: For those interested, the meeting went off very well. Teaa loved my mom and my mother mentioned to us that Teaa is "much better than that other skank you brought home before." That's my mom!

So I'm puttering around the apartment last night before bed, whistling "I Love How You Love Me" by The Paris Sisters and Teaa says that I "whistle like a serial killer."

I'm still not sure what that means...

Speaking of Afternoon (and Morning and Evening) Delight, happy "month-i-versary" to Teaa. And they said we'd never last.
