MY LIFE LATELYThings are progressing slowly with Sean’s treatment for autism. I got a call from his school. They wanted me to register him for senior kindergarten because the spaces were filling up. I have misgivings, though. I really don’t think that he’s going to be able to handle regular school. We did go for an interview at a different ( Read more... )

Oh, it's okay about the delays. It's just the way things are here, so I'm quite used to it. His regular school is going to get a speech therapist for him as well as a teacher's assistant specializing in autism, so we'll see how he gets along in regular school in September.

Thanks. My ankle is gradually getting better. It's still swollen but the bruising has gone. However, it hurts worse now than at the beginning. It was numb right after is happened.

Re: the snake. Yes! That's exactly what James (the viper victim) thought. He's worked with reptiles for years and actually loves them. He didn't want a huge public outcry against the creatures.

Thanks Juno! The best way to deal with Sean, I find, is to take things slowly. He's actually progressing quite nicely, considering everything.

Yeah, the snake thing freaked me out. I'm glad your dad is ok. You never know about these things.

Thank you! And yes, the snakebite patient was very foolish. But I guess he was right in the end because he recovered and no harm was done.

Anyway, that’s all I have to say for now.

Well, I'd say that's plenty.

Best wishes for Sean's school situation, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your Spanish class so much, and I'm amused that Stuart continues to be dopey. Now that golf season is here again I hope we hear more of the Stuart and Ed saga.

Oww! I feel your pain! In fact, that sounds almost exactly like what I did last October: fall down stairs, sprain ankle badly, drag self to exam. Hope your ankle recovers faster than mine!!
