My life, it is fair to say, has been turned completely upside-down.
In a I-have-people-concerned-for-my-personal-well-being sort of way.
I'm trying to put a positive spin on things, and maybe one day it will come. But I don't think it will be soon.
I feel very, very empty, and very, very alone.

I don't blame anybody but myself.

I was told at work that if I don't get faster, they'll be forced to "take disciplinary action." In doing so, I will be fired.
But I've already been looking through the classefieds, so I hope I won't be too screwed.

Chris and Aurelie's wedding today. It was nice, even though it was hot in the church. It was funny when the pastor said "Mark and Aurelie" instead of "Chris and Aurelie."
I finally got to spend some time with Kat today. Kat, dear, you looked amazing.
And now I go to find something to do tonight. What?, I don't know.

Hilary called me last night. She promised (remember this Hilary, you promised) that if she wasn't working, she would be out in Winnipeg for the first week of May. I told her that she could come live with me for a week. That would be pretty great, and I'm really hoping it pans out.

Landlady called this morning. That place is mine. Hot fucking damn. I'm very, very pleased about that. Now if only I can get around that pesky 'paying rent to live there' thing. I wonder if there's a loophole ( Read more... )

Today is the day that I wanted off this weekend. Just one measly Sunday. But no. Instead, I get the two days before Sunday off, and the two days after Sunday off. Safety deposit is in. Fingers are crossed. Now she (landlady) just needs to do a bit of a background check on me, and I'm in. I swear, if that crazy bitch finds anything 'wrong' with me, I'll gouge her eyes out. That'll show her.
