Let me get things straight :/
I said I would be strict about voting and I'm not joking. Some of you didn't read the voting guidelines. I'm fine with notifying you guys if you need to elaborate more on your voting but not voting when I've said that all participants should vote to avoid disqualification just bothers me ( Read more... )

That's a bit of a pickle.. I'm not sure what to do about that :/

FAVOURITE VOTES;- The images used are hilarious, great choice! The colouring is also good and the text certainly fits the theme of both the icon and the contest ( ... )

LEAST QUALITY VOTES;
- The text is unreadable, another font or font size would have worked a lot better with the icon, because the arrangement and the idea of the text is really nice.

FAVOURITE VOTES;
- Great picture choice! It's like a work of art. And the cropping/text choice compliment it well.
- The cropping of the image makes the icon unique as well as the angle of focus on the subject although the text is a little blurry and hard to read.
- The crop is great, and the light texture on the side adds an extra ‘zing’ to it. However, the fact that the text is a bit hard to read does detract from its appeal.

SPECIAL CATEGORY - BEST COLOURING VOTES;
- Every major colour is brought out perfectly, contrasting without overpowering, some subtle and some vivid.

LEAST QUALITY VOTES;
- The crop is quite dull and the picture is too over saturated. Perhaps you should try to crop just the face or simply the eye and the ear to make it interesting. Next time you should balance the colors more out, because the red is really strong and the blue face waaay to soft.

FAVOURITE VOTES;
- This icon is very simple and elegant. The cropping is perfect and the icon isn't over-colored.

SPECIAL CATEGORY - BEST COLOURING VOTES;- The icon is a bit too simple, but the crop and (especially) the coloring is fantastic. The reds and blues mix very well with the muted blacks and lighter blues in this icon. In general, the coloring is vibrant without being too overpowering ( ... )

LESSER QUALITY VOTES;- The image looks grainy and there seems to be a lot of contrast in the icon. The placement of text seems uncreative and it's not very readable. The way the word 'angel' overlaps on Angelwoman's forehead is distracting. If there was a balance between the colours, everything would look much more balanced out in terms of colours ( ... )

Character's name, you need to make banners for Takato and Ruki :)

LESSER QUALITY VOTES;
- A bit too plain. The cropping could have been better but it's mostly the coloring that makes the icon bland. Try another coloring that brings out the reds in Masaru's shirt without making his skin too 'red'. The tiny text brush is a good touch but could have had more impact if the cropping was better.
- The way you placed the tiny text doesn't really suit the icon. Maybe you could place the texture over the tiny text so that it blends in more~
