Savers: 1

Title: The Others
Series: Tamers
Characters: Kenta, MarineAngemon, Hirokazu, Guardromon
Rating: PG
Note: Because Hirokazu and Kenta are worth as much as the Trio. Takes place around ep42.

With Jen and Ruki leaving with their families, and Takato escorting Juri to Matsumoto, Hirokazu and Kenta parted ways as their parents told them where they would be relocating.

Kenta sat in the backseat, facing the window, watching as the scenery continued; there were less and less buildings around. His parents mentioned staying in Mushuku.

A pitched chirping broke him out of his daydream, he turned to his partner, who had a worried look on his face, "Pi pu~?"

Kenta shook his head, mindful of his father's gaze from the rear view mirror. He wanted to stay at home, but with the D-Reaper now in the Real World, and everyone in the city freaking out, it wasn't likely.

MarineAngemon curled up to his Tamer, rubbing against Kenta's cheek. The small Ultimate knew what his partner was thinking, and tried his best at comforting him.

Once they reached their new home, Kenta attached himself to the TV, watching it for any new improvements. MarineAngemon chirped away, and Kenta could only agree. As the days went on, Kenta felt the restless grow. Finally, after seeing Takato and the others fighting on the news, he couldn't take it anymore.

Kenta nodded at MarineAngemon, who only chirped in agreement, and they took off.

Hirokazu was annoyed. He should be out there, helping Takato and the others fight against the D-Reaper. He knew they would be. He wouldn't put it past Ruki at all.

Guardromon stood outside his window, watching the D-Reaper. His mother threw a fit when she found out he would be staying with the Shiota's in Matsuhara 4-chome. Try as she might, Guardromon wouldn't leave, and Hirokazu felt a small comfort in knowing his Digimon would be there if he needed him.

He heard his mother scream at Guardromon, but he didn't hear them. On the TV, news reports of D-Reaper and flashed by. Hirokazu balled up his fists. He wasn't doing any good here at home. What was the point of being a Tamer if he wasn't helping his friends?

Later, after his mother finished yelling at Guardromon, Hirokazu couldn't take it anymore. He climbed through the window, hopped on Guardromon, and they were off.

Title: Karma 3
Series: Tamers
Characters: Ai, Makoto
Rating: PG
Note: Makoto mimics Ai, and Ai is called Onee-chan by Makoto while Ai calls him Mako-chan. Yay for research!

Ai was the first to notice. She began to search about her room, moving onto the next room when she didn't find what she was looking for. It was only when she ended up in the kitchen did Makoto start to raise some questions.

"Onee-chan, what are you doing?"

"Searching."

"Searching for what?"

Ai stopped, turning around to look at her brother, "Mako-chan, Impmon is missing."

"Eh!" Mako blinked his eyes wide, "Impmon is missing?"

His sister nodded, "He hasn't been here since... since you broke my toy!"

Mako pouted, "It was MY toy that YOU broke!"

"Nuh uh!"

"Yes! Mom said I could play with it and you broke it!"

"Only because you played with my t-" Ai stopped in mid-sentence, suddenly remembering the argument. She gasped, plopping down on the floor. "We did it."

"We did it?" Mako sat down next to Ai, "We did what?"

"I think all our fighting upset Impmon... That's why..." Tears began to well up in Ai's eyes. She pursed her lips, "Mako-chan."

"Onee-chan?" Mako peered up at Ai, as she stood up, looking all determined.

"We're gonna stop fighting. If we do, Impmon should come back!"

"Impmon will come back?"

"He will!"

The two started off small, sharing they newly fixed teddy bear. But as the days went by, and Impmon was still nowhere to be found, the twins' parents began to notice their children were in poor spirits. Their father proposed the dog. If anything, especially with the way they seemed to be getting along, he reasoned, a dog should make them happy again.

The next day, he went to the animal shelter, picking up a small brown puppy, knowing his children would love it. He found the two in the backyard, sitting in the sandbox, having a tea party. He called out, and smiled as grins appeared on Ai and Mako's faces.

He never expected them to start fighting again, nor did he ever think that Ai and Mako's partner Impmon had seen the whole thing.

Their dad finally got them to stop fighting over the dog, and it was at that time Ai realized what they had done. After that, they tried even harder to stop fighting. They kept the teddy bear out as a reminder, and when the D-Reaper attacked, they left a message for Impmon, in case he returned to their home.

Never in their wildest dreams did they think they would run into Impmon while walking their dog.

This time, Ai thought as they returned to their grandma's, this time they would treat Impmon right.
