I'm almost done reading Deadhouse Gates, the second book of the Malazan Book of the Fallen series by Steven Erikson. These books are incredibly detailed, gritty, original fantasy - my only real problem with the series so far is that it bogs down occasionally. They've released the full track listing for Rock Band 2. They've got a ton of great songs on there, and all the downloadable content that people bought for the first game will still work in the new one. This is one more thing I'm looking forward to in September.

This is a great example of why central banking (i.e. the Federal Reserve system) is bad, and having the value of your money tied to something (gold, in our case) was a good thing.
