Hey, I don't think anyone was interested in contacting me, but I've been off the grid while on vacation, except to take emergency calls from work and fix computer problems remotely. We got back a few days ago, mostly to observe Obon and for me to handle some things at work that couldn't be done from backwater hotels, cabins, and traditional inns ( Read more... ) -

The bags are packed and all travel arrangements made.
Osamu and I (and the digimon) are going to Rishiri and Rebun islands for vacation, and maybe Lake Akan NP and Shiretoko peninsula if we have time. I have the computers at work set up to allow me remote access in case anything happens to them.

Admittedly, I don't get much relief from the grind this term. Get up, get on the train, go to class, get on the train, go to work, get on the train, go home, study. And I study on the train, too.
