Well I finally decided to retire from work, its been approx 2 weeks now give or take a few days. I was really looking forward to having a rest , but things dont work out how you plan. I have a new granddaughter Tabitha Evelyn was born at 4.32 pm USA time 10.32pm UK time on 23rd April 09. St George's Day in the UK. to say that I am the most proud gran is an understatement words can't express the feelings I am experiencing. I have two beautiful granddaughters I am truly blessed.

This winter seems to be dragging on longer than usual its making a lot of people 'moaney'. Take the shop yesterday we had a new 'work in the community' volunteer start with us, he has 100 hours of community work to do. Things are certainly changing here lots of people loosing their jobs doom and gloom seems to be everywhere. Last Thursday 23rd October Peter and Andrea got married in Walsall Registry Office , they didnt want any fuss as they had both 'been there before'. The ceremony was a simple one and a very nice one, with what they have both been through the last 18 months I think they were both relieved that Andrea had got through the treatments succesfully.Peter ( Read more... )
