And now, for your irregularly scheduled mind-dump...

Blorg. Well, as is normal for me, it's about 9 months since my last entry. These things a re a bit like children, I guess... the gestation time is right, at any rate. So yeah. Let's bring my adoring public up to date on the life of the Dilph ( Read more... )

Well that was one hell of a dump master_haakon May 24 2004, 06:27:18 UTC
Well the only suggestion I can give is time. Spend more time talking to Kate to let her that she is loved and that you do care for her. Even if you have to sacrifice other things to do this.

Hope everything turns out ok in the end.

still send the flowers, and as soon as you can put aside money in a "don't touch jar" thatyou can pull out next time you want to suprise her but don't have the money. If she's worth as much to you as I know she is, you'll work it out. I have faith in the two of you, your relationship is strong. Bump in the road.

and you know it might not hurt to direct her to read this entry.

I understand that it must have been confusing as all hell for you Dilph, seriously. But, though I know I don't really have the right to direct you here, maybe it would help if you asked Misty if you can direct Kate to HER (Misty's) last two/three journal entries and she (Kate) reads those. Two reasons - 1. They don't mention you snuggling with her (Misty). If it was the case that she was trying to hit on you (which she wasn't) then, my assumption would be that she would have mentioned it. She didn't. Maybe Kate will see it that way to. 2. It sheds at least partial light on what Ellen WAS focused on and what HER concerns were about the party. Again, you are not mentioned. I am not trying to burst an ego bubble or anything, far from it. It is merely a suggestion. You would know better than I would if reading that would give Kate any reasurrance...

In the meantime, hugs to you.

Remember, these things generally have a way of working out.

PS. Thanks! :) I think you guys are pretty damn cool yourselves. :)

Nothing happened, but the fact that it /could/ have...

It's not what could have happened, it's what did happen. I'd be more worried if you'd actually considered it, rather than freak out at the possibility.

Won't try to give you any advice on what to do, with my track record.. Just try to explain how you feel as good as you can.. That's about all you can do...

(And you're still on my hit list for formatting...)

*Winces* Owch.

Mid-year resolution: Next time at a party at Casa Dilphenstein, snuggle with Bingo and Lee and make everyone goddamn jealous that way.

Sorry Dilph. :S No hitting-on signals intended.
