I completely feel your frustration on the jobhunting when up against juniors. It really doesn't give a fair chance to anyone over 18.
Well done to Kate for giving up the cutting. It's a hard thing to drop. Does she get help for her issues? As in a therapy and/or meds sense? I know for me, both of those in combination have made all the difference, and I would almost say I'm not depressed anymore. Miss a tablet, though, and it all comes back by about 10am.
I hope things get better for you, or at least remain at a tolerable level.
Nah, she's not on anything/talking to anyone, much as I might wish it; flat refuses to. But she knows there's a problem, and is working on it - little bit of progess so far (Down from an hour a day to half an hour a day on the bike, etc) so it's looking good - baby steps.
You seriously aren't forgotten, but there's a hell of a lot that's happened in your life that I've completely managed to miss hearing about o_o
Hell, a little while ago I'd gotten to thinking about when we'd just talk about random- everything, for an hour or so. ..man I miss that. And your social glue. You managed to keep us all together.
Dunno, dude... at this stage, I'm up for xmas with family, and may be able to scrape a day in with you 'orrible lot, but past that, nfi... I may have to take a week off work easter/half yearish and just hang out. Time will tell.
Cool to see you're still alive. I've got to commend you for sticking by Kate through her troubles. A lesser guy would have quit on her. And it's hard to forget you mate. You hit everyone here hard like the blows of your character's weapons.
