Bike Repair. The Dilph Way!

Feb 15, 2009 22:18

...yeah, you lot know me. You all know what I'm capable of, and where my usual proclivities lie.

Therefore, with a heading like that, you /already/ know this is gunna be bad, and involve blood, pain, scarring and general angst, caused by a combination of bad luck and/or ineptitude.

I hate to disappoint... ( The story is here... )

You really want me to play with a bigger, faster, nastier piece of equipment? *grin*

That /would/ be suicide :)

HAH! Well written! The battle between man and tire seems strangely dramatic and noble. Having to puncture your own tire, and then it gets its revenge!! Very epic.

My tales are epic in scope, and magnificent in stature. If only they happened to someone /else/, I would be happy... Take a dig back in the history of this thing and you'll find some even more epic tales of pain and suffering. All mine, of course.

You, ma'am, are cruel, evil, and heartless.

I knew I liked you for a reason. *bows*

I am suprised you didn't use your superior though and try the single bandaid with structural cross support of another two.. Must have been the bloodloss.

Then again with the sheer amount of bleed you put out sounds like you did the equivalent of a blood donation. Surprised you weren't feeling light headed along with all that exertion.. which might explain the constant blood eruptions..

Bah. The traditional cross-pattern bandaid arrangement worked. Kinda. Ish. Enough that I didn't need to worry about it for a while :)

I have plenty of blood - never been accused of a shortage in that department! It's just the 'keeping it on the inside' part that I fail at. Regularly.

Two weeks ago today, and everything is a-ok, so it looks like I evaded the horrible tendon doom of which you speak. Well, hopefully, anyways.

And it didn't all go to waste; I bled all over the tyre, so I think it counts as my regular ritual sacrifice to propitiate the BikeGods...

...you've seen what I can do with a blunt blade. Do you reaaaaaaally want me to play with a /sharp/ one?
