Can't imagine why the parents of your baby's daddy wouldn't be thrilled! After all, a high school kid with no visible means of support brings yet another child into the world that has two parents who are not married to each other who if they do marry, the odds are very likely they will end in divorce. WTF? Ever thought of adoption? Best chance the kid will have of a productive life!

I never said I wanted his parents to be thrilled. They just shouldn't be such jerks. I'm assuming you don't know them or me, so you really have no business saying. And you don't know that my kid will have a more productive life with someone else. Because again, you don't know me. And it's not your decision. It's mine.

Who says that her child won't be productive?! That's such a stereotype and it makes me sick. Yes, it's going to be hard. But who's life isn't hard. Even children with two parents who are 'happily' married have hard lives, and Kate's child's life may just be hard in different areas. And, regardless of whethere they get married or not, I believe they love eachtother enough to both be active in their baby's life. I'm sorry, I'm kind of rambling. I just get so frustrated when people who try to tell others that they aren't going to be able to do something just because of what society says. Kate's decided to do it. And she will. And in my opinion she'll do a damn good job. Have a good one. :)
