I am sooooooooooooooo jealous!!!! Incidentally, how much we all miss you was a big topic of conversation at National Mechanics earlier this evening. Hugs!
I'm actually in the process of hiring a scantily-clad Latina babe to suggestively lurch over the front of it, accentuating its fine chrome details and potential for attracting additional females.
Either that or I couldn't figure out the auto-timer function to take a picture of myself when no one else was around.
Hi! I'm a friend of rachelllls and she recommended I drop by to ask you about scooters. Low and behold, here's a scooter post about on of the ones I'm considering! This is my post which prompted her to send me your way. Any info you could pass along would be awesome!
I'll try to post something with more detail later. I also read a pretty good review which is mostly agreeable to anything I'd say about the Vino 125. I'll try to find that again too.
I saw your journal post saying that you decided against the scooter. This is probably smart. If you're planning on living anywhere rural or suburban it's probably best to avoid anything under 250ccs. The Vino 125 is a superb machine, but it's not made for long distance and highway travel. It's funny that everyone asks me "do you take that thing on the expressway?" I tell them "no, that's like taking a waverunner in the open ocean." You can do it, but that's simply not what it's made for. I can and have done that, but all you do is aggravate other drivers who want to go 80mph. Most highways have a engine size minimums of 150ccs anyway, regardless of the speeds possible by the bike in question.
But still, if you ever want a scooter, the Vino 125 is the frugal person's Vespa.
