I bought my first video camera. Panasonic's AG-HMC150. It shoots only in HD and records to an SD card. The best thing? NJ Unemployment is paying for it.
My freelance work doesn't count as full-time or even part-time employment so everything I earn there goes into my pocket.
Now I just need to make some money with the damn camera. -

Last time I was in Frankfurt a guy name Darryl (sp?) gave me a book written by British-American Historian Bill Bryson. Recently, I bought a newer book by the same author called A Walk in the Woods. I've taken advantage of a few moments of boredom over the past couple of days at work to make something more fun than commercials for stupid clients. Friday it was really sunny outside and I wanted to shoot something shiny. I made a video of my Vino scooter and posted it on youtube. Higher-quality version is here.

Car advice?
So here I go. Time for a new car. My '94 Buick Century has been sucking more funds than I care to invest and it is threatening to get worse. As of today the odometer reads 99,800 miles. Yesterday a girl representing a local magazine called Casino Connection stopped by to drop off some of December's copies. They are one of our clients and we regularly produce commercials for them.
