Driving across the Bay Bridge and into the city for thanksgiving dinner, I was amazed at how beautiful the city looked. Lights, cast against the backdrop of glistening bay waters, pulsating under the shadows of mountains. My favourite part of going in to the city is the journey home. Driving across the bay bridge at night to your favourite song, and in your rear view mirror you see the city, in all its glory, slowly pulling away from you. And you know that in this world of seven billion people, you are right where you are supposed to be.
